Bio:Mr. Turner earned his Bachelor of Science and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida. After graduation Mr. Turner was an assistant state attorney in the Eighth Judicial Circuit. Thereafter, Mr. Turner was in private practice in partnership with Selig Goldin. Initially their practice was a general practice of law but over the years, Mr. Turner specialized in representing professionals with licensing, tenure and employment issues, criminal defense, and civil rights litigation. Mr. Turner was appointed to the Eighth Judicial Circuit Court and at various times served on the criminal bench, the family bench and the civil/probate bench. In January 2005, Mr. Turner returned to the private practice of law. He concentrates his practice on complex criminal, administrative, and civil litigation.
Mr. Turner is a founding member of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and was its third president. He is listed by Martindale-Hubbell “AV Pre-eminent 5.0 out of 5”; named by U.S. News-Best Lawyers as one of the “Best Lawyers in America”; Florida Trend’s Legal Elite; and, Florida Super Lawyers. The law firm of Turner O’Connor Kozlowski is named in U.S. News & World Report as one of the “Best Law Firms” in America.
