FREE CLE–to be rescheduled. Due to the recent hurricanes, our September 26 “Inside the Florida Legislature” will be rescheduled. It’s a powerhouse program—in-person in Tampa and live webcast—that includes a panel discussion by key members of the Florida Legislature. This unique CLE will update criminal law practitioners on relevant changes to Florida law in 2024 and a preview of what to expect from the 2025 session.

The 12–6 PM legislative update is in person at The Westshore Grand in Tampa and on Zoom. The program is free and open to all and includes lunch and a reception.

Highlighted by a panel discussion featuring ranking members of criminal justice and judiciary committees from the Florida House and Senate, this four-hour CLE will include a presentation on the Florida budget, the 2024 legislative session, and an ethics presentation from Alexis Fowler, Ethics and Compliance Officer at Citizens Property Insurance Corp. Course number 8644 is approved for 5 CLE credits, 1 of which may be applied toward Ethics, and 5 certification credits each in Criminal Appellate and Criminal Trial.
Schedule and Presenters to be announced.
