Jude M. Faccidomo, Founding and Managing Partner of Ratzan & Faccidomo, LLC.
Jude M. Faccidomo is a graduate of Bard College in New York and earned his Juris Doctor degree from Saint Thomas University School of Law in Miami, Florida in 2004.
Mr. Faccidomo began his career as an Assistant Public Defender with the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s office and has extensive jury trial experience. While at the Public Defender’s Office, Mr. Faccidomo was recruited to join the firm of Jeffrey S. Weiner, P.A., where he spent five years handling high-profile and complex criminal litigation and jury trials. Following his time at the Law Offices of Jeffrey S. Weiner, Mr. Faccidomo partnered with Mycki Ratzan to form Ratzan & Faccidomo, LLC, a boutique criminal law firm focused on personalized client attention.
Together with Ms. Ratzan, Mr. Faccidomo continues to practice both Federal and State criminal defense law. Mr. Faccidomo is the past Chair of the Miami Bar Association Criminal Courts Committee, a Past President of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers-Miami Chapter, and a Past President for the State of Florida. He is a past Board member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the current Secretary of the Executive Council for the Florida Bar’s Criminal Law Section, is a current member and past vice chair of the Florida Bar Criminal Procedure Rules Committee, and sits on the Board of Advisors for the St. Thomas University School of Law.
Mr. Faccidomo routinely invited to guest lecture on topics pertaining to criminal defense at the Miami-Dade Public Defender’s Office, the Miami-Dade Metropolitan Police Institute, St. Thomas University, and Florida Bar Criminal Law Section CLEs. Additionally, Mr. Faccidomo has been requested by numerous media outlets, including the Miami Herald, WLRN, CourtTV, and Fox News, to offer commentary and insight into pertinent and complex legal matters. Mr. Faccidomo has consistently been named one of South Florida’s Legal Elite by South Florida Legal Guide, Best Lawyers in America by Best Lawyers’ Magazine and is regularly listed in Superlawyers magazine.
Mr. Faccidomo is a member of the State Bar of Florida, the Federal Bar for the Southern and Middle District of Florida, as well as the United States Supreme Court Bar.
