October 1, 12-1 PM live Zoom webinar presented by Ralph DeMeo, Guilday Law, and hosted by the Criminal Law and Animal Law sections of The Florida Bar. Course number 8688 is approved for 1 CLE, and 1 certification credit each in Civil Trial, Criminal Trial, and Criminal Appellate.

The program will examine applicable Florida Constitutional sections, statutes, and regulations relating to marine and land wildlife, including the management of the Florida Black Bear, the use of gill nets for fishing, and other current issues. Civil and criminal wildlife laws will be discussed, including animal cruelty laws. It also will highlight 2024 legislation which proposed an amendment to the Florida Constitution that codifies the right to hunt and fish as the preferred means of wildlife management, which will appear on the November statewide ballot.
