Congratulations to the four Florida law students who received the Criminal Law Section’s 2024 Student Scholarship Awards. The Section’s 2023-2024 Chair, Joe Spataro, presented the awards during the Section’s Membership and Awards Ceremony at the Annual Florida Bar Convention in June. Congratulations to Sarah Tanner, Cooley Law School; Fabrizia Wade, Florida State University College of Law; Arianna Diaz Wightman, University of Miami School of Law; and Emma Hirschy, Florida State University College of Law. The annual scholarships are awarded to students who have shown dedication to and interest in the criminal justice system as trial and appellate practitioners. Each student received a $2,500 cash scholarship.
